Operations Plan
Winn Pinecrest Collaborative is a nonprofit organization created to improve, rebuild, renovate, revitalize, and restore communities by building self-efficiency and self-esteem through improving useful property for community use. We are targeting the at-risk populations within the neighborhoods: children having difficulty in school, young adults without employable skills, single parents and the elderly.
The organization’s day-to-day operations will include providing services needed to the target audience.
Goals & Initiatives
Our nonprofit has three primary goals which we will focus our efforts on achieving in the 2025 fiscal year:
Goal 1: “Restoring our Legacy” To begin reconstruction and renovation to the Winn Training/Pinecrest High School campus site for use as a community center.
Goal 2: To secure funding to support the programs and services offered at the community center.
Goal 3: To develop a team of volunteers to run the programs and services at the community center to lower the overhead costs.
To achieve our goals, we will undertake the following initiatives:
Initiative 1: To get the Community Center opened to provide beneficial programs and services.
Initiative 2: Conduct research on best practices in community development and implement these practices in our programming.
Initiative 3: Hold fundraising events, request donations, seek grants and corporate sponsorships to generate revenue for our nonprofit.
Initiative 4: Our nonprofit will work with other communities in our parish to help establish programming to increase productivity and self-sufficiency.
